Delta Rho Sorority

Introductory of 'Sorority'

A sorority is chiefly a social organisation of female students at a college or university, usually designated by Greek letters. Sororities were originally founded on dedication to principles such as common services, sound learning and leadership qualities. Apart from the use of Greek letters, the common theme running through all is the building of friendship and 'sisterly' bonds through shared experiences and efforts.


Introduction of Delta Rho

Delta Rho is a college social sorority founded in the dedication to fully intergrate the relationship between junior and senior girls. The purpose of Delta Rho Sorority is to promote true friendship among the girls of KYUEM by inculcating into their hearts and lives those principles of truth, honour, duty, without which there can be no true friendship. The 'sisterhood' formed will be helpful, especially to sub-juniors, during the first semester whereby it is the period of time for them to settle in. Delta Rho will help sub-junior members to fit into college lifestyle effortlessly. Most importantly, Delta Rho, will strengthen bonds between members as there will be weekly meeting and as membership is limited, the amount of attention paid to every member is undivided.


Main Agendas

1. Active participation towards college unity by closing the gap between seniors and juniors.

2. Voice out concerns and interests of women within reason.

3. Ensuring that every members fully savoures college life and what this wonderful place has to offer in non-academic activities.

4. Ensuring that every member will be successful in her studies by guiding every sorority member and helping each other.

5. Encouraging each member to live a healthy life by being enthusiastic in the engagement of physical activities.

6. Instill the values of teamwork, cooperation, tolerance, honour and honesty



The object of Delta Rho Sorority is the formation and perpetuation of good fellowship, friendship and sisterly love among its members, the encouragement of literature and education; the promotion of social interest; and the futhterance of charitable and benevolent purposes.

Delta Rho is not merely a club. It is a sisterhood. Those who are keen to jin the sorority or are interested to know more about Delta Rho, please assemble in LT2 on Tuesday, 14th June 2005 at 4.15 p.m. All junior girls are most welcomed.

Maybe ramai kot yang tak tau pasal sorority nih amende...ana pun tak tau..sape yg slalu bace english book dan tgk tv american stories tau la kot sket sket psal club nih. Yang dah diceritakan kat ana adalah club nih in most colleges and universities members die terdiri di kalangan so-called-popular bunch of people...u know kalau kat sane, popular tu cam mane kan. and lagi satu, members of sorority club nih kire the chosen one la...maybe this junior batch die buat volunteer...tapi next junior batch? wallahuálam...

ok la...tak boleh nak condemn awal awal...maybe die nak buat lain dari sorority club yg diasaskan kat america. tapi, probability nye begitu tinggi kah? lagipun, membership untuk club ni limited..[die ada cakap kat atas tu] so, nape kene sisterhood ngan certain groups of people aje? dan ade kawan ckp gak, kire sorority club nih agak as-sobiah tak kene tempat...bagus bonding kuat tu, tapi kene la ikut tempat dan keadaan...

Closing the gap between juniors and seniors...hmm..house kan ade...ta'alim kan selalu buat...[lain la kalau house cap house tu tak bergerak..tu tak leh nak nolong la] kan time tu boleh closing the gap...bukan setakat sorority members nih je...malahan untuk semua jenis golongan manusia. dari yang tak kenal, jadi kenal, dari yg tak rapat, jadi rapat...hmm...

Delta Rho will help sub-junior members to fit into college lifestyle effortlessly...huhu..college lifestyle skrang cam mane??????

yang paling ana takut...ladies' night akan muncul kembali...


wallahuálam...sbb ana sendiri tak arif pasal mende nih..jadi tak leh cakap byk...tu sedikit sebyk perkara-perkara yg ana takut je la in the future terjadik and just my thoughts and some of my friends'.

sbb org skrang nih sgt sensitip...ckp sket tak leh...ckp mende btol je terasa...ckp pendapat je nak melenting...jadi, ana nak kene cakap la..ana bukan nak menghukum awal awal...cuma itu la kerisauan di hati. perhaps sorority club nih memang bagus dari segi ajaran islam...tu ana tak tau..wallahuálam..
